Gregory Parris, hailing from the scenic mountains of Hendersonville, North Carolina, moved first to Charlotte and then to Charleston in the early 2000s to pursue greater opportunities in his welding career. Starting as an ironworker, Gregory quickly showcased his leadership abilities and deep understanding of the construction process. His dedication to quality and strong work ethic naturally propelled him into project management, where he applied his hands-on experience to oversee complex projects. Gregory built a successful design-build career rooted in hard work, humility, and honesty. His professional journey includes significant contributions to large-scale projects such as the prestigious MUSC and Roper Hospital in Charleston, South Carolina, as well as numerous regional projects with Boeing International. These achievements have deepened his connection to Charleston, the city he now proudly calls home, and secured him a key role on Berenyi’s leadership team.
Prior to joining Berenyi in 2018, Gregory worked for SteelFab, one of the most prominent steel fabricators in the country. As a project manager, he managed teams on multi-million projects with a strong dedication to quality and transparency that gained him industry accolades and client praise, which included Boeing, Cummins, and Greystar. Since joining Berenyi, Gregory has advanced from Superintendent to Project Manager and ultimately to Director of Construction, driven by his proven commitment to excellence, innovative thinking, and relationship-driven management style.
Outside of work, Gregory cherishes time with his wife and two daughters, balancing his professional achievements with a fulfilling family life. His commitment to both his career, family and community embodies the values of our firm, making him an integral part of our team.
